They are often stuffed with various nutritious fillings - cottage cheese, meat, onions and eggs. Also, hot tea or coffee is often drunk for Breakfast in addition to food. What do Russians eat for lunch? For lunch, the first and second courses are traditionally prepared. The first dishes include liquid-various soups, hot and cold. The traditional first course is one of the oldest in Russian cuisine - of course, soup. They are lean, only with vegetables and onions, or with meat. For the second Russian people like to eat side dishes and meat or fish. Often the main dish is served with various pickles - sauerkraut, pickled mushrooms, pickles. By the end of the meal, compote or tea is served-perhaps with sweet. What do Russians eat for dinner? Dinner can be varied. Often something meat is prepared with a side dish or fish dish, salad - for example, vinaigrette. Dessert is possible at the end. Time dictates its own rules, and now the Russians are not so strictly adhere to traditions.
