Dear Alice,Thank you for telling me about Cedar Grove School. It sounds like a lovely place to learn! In my school, which is called Maplewood School, we have a similar setup with different grades attending. Our school is a bit bigger, with thirteen classrooms and a large playground where we can play during recess. My classroom is very colorful and cozy. There are twenty-five desks in my classroom, and the teacher's desk is at the front of the room. We have big windows that let in lots of natural light, and there are colorful posters and charts on the walls. We also have a library corner with a variety of books for us to read during our free time.In my Reading class, we do read English books. Last week, we read a book called "The Secret Garden" and I really enjoyed it. It's a story about a girl who discovers a magical garden and learns important lessons about friendship and nature. What books have you been reading in your class recently?I can't wait to hear more about your school and your classroom! Write back soon.Lots of love,
Betty
